Hi there
I'm a new mum-to-be and just found out I'm pregnant (7 weeks ).
I got a list of midwifes to contact but reading some people's horrible experiences, I was wondering if there's any personal recommendations for good midwifes based in Epsom/Parnell/Newmarket areas.
I researched & alot of forum posts are quite outdated.

I'll need to call on Tuesday so will need some lovely advice from you all. :)

Many thanks!

Maybe if you gave us a list of names you are thinking and then if someone has used them they can give you a better idea. There used to be a recommend your midwife post on here...

I'm 34 weeks and my midwife is Jocelyn Boddie. She is lovely. When I first went to see her she was teaching a midwifery student and has always answered any question I've had honestly and pretty quickly.

Jocelyn Boddie is the first one i found with recommendations i thought would suit me. I emailed her last night with an email i found on the NZ college of midwives site and she replied saying she is all booked up for my EDD. I am a little confused since the email went to a Jocelyn Howden, but i assume one is a maiden name? (still hoping Jocelyn Howden is someone else because then their would be a chance i contacted the wrong person and J.Boddie is still availiable.. but i dont think so.

No, same person. I got confused too.
Bummer, she really is lovely. She works with other midwives though so maybe one of them is free for your edd?
