I remember this when I was UTD with DD, but then I could just snuggle up with the cat and let DH look after me, these days I can't really just lay down have a nap with a boisterous 2 year old running around.

I know that I ned to rest when I'm really exhausted, but any ideas how to get through this stage?
I'd prefer not to rely on coffee iykwim

Thanks

this is what I had to do.

I pretty much did a saftey check, secured the house. put on a dvd, had a cuddle and i slept.
I also would set up a decoy game, so if she did get bored and go looking for something to do and by chance i didn't wake, then she would spot the special game and play there.
Good luck. Its awful.

And just remember, it's not forever. I found it really hard work too, but you hit a certain point and feel heaps better
