Im newly pregnant for the first time and looking for an OB in Wellington, has anyone used Val Schenk or Meera Sood? Would love to hear of any recommendations, thanks.

Val Schenk is great. I haven't used as was under high risk clinic so had ob anyway but both my obs said she was great.

I used Dr Sood for my first child and I am now using her for my 2nd. she was awesome. Now she tag teams with Dr Mashte so you alternate between the two of them. When it comes to delivery its who ever is on out of the two that delivers. The cost is so worth it!

hmm thanks for that so sounds like both of Dr Sood and Dr Schenk are both good, so cant go wrong!

I saw Val at the hospital for one appointment... She was fine as far as OBs go Not sure I would have wanted to go against her recommendations if she was actually in charge of my care, but I imagine I would have felt the same under any OB.
I have got friends who have used Michelle, and love him?

We used MIchel Sangalli with first baby - he was great. Would definitely recommend. Clinic is right next to the hospital, and Val Schneck and him cover each other if needed.

Does anyone have any experience with Meera Sood. I am 20 weeks and have seen her twice and her bedside manner is lacking, unfriendly, not personable. All other private Obgyn in Wellington are BOOKED! HELP!
