Can I eat smoked fish pie? Was going to get some fish from the deli pre-smoked and then heat it to piping hot in a fish pie...

Hmmm good question! I probably wouldn't eat it but I'm pretty paranoid. If it was in a tin it would be different because you know it's fresh open but deli stuff can be a bit dodge.

Agree with Liv, as long as it is piping hot it's not a problem. (Same for most meats...including the Xmas ham!)

I'll third the "piping hot is fine" proposition, for what it's worth :) Almost anything is fine as long as piping hot, including soft cheeses (eg you can have brie on pizza) because it kills any bacteria that might be lurking.

Enjoy!

Yep, I'd eat it.
