Hi Girls
After 5 days of clomiphene and some gonalf injections i had my first scan. Unfortunately i had quite a large cyst which seemed to take up alot of the hormones i was taking so other follies werent developing properly so FS suggested cancel and start after next period

Has anyone else experienced this and gone on to have a good cycle?

Hi, I did 2x clomid cycles through FA, and in the first cycle, when I had my scan on CD11, I had one mature follicle, and a 2.2cm cyst on the right ovary.

The 2nd clomid cycle, I had a mature follicle, and the cyst had grown. Can't remember how much it had grown, think it was about 2.8cm?

Unfortunately cysts thrive on estrogen, which is what the clomid is encouraging your body to make more of. I have endometriosis, and the specialist at FA said that yes, with endo, (and presumably other estrogen dominant conditions) clomid can encourage cyst formation.

So after the 2nd cycle, with the cyst having grown, we decided not to do any more clomid cycles.
