I have just over the weekend found out the we are expecting again and due to the long road and heartache it takes to get here I am so worried that it's all gonna get taken away! I went through the same thing the first time around and so just wondered if there is anyone else like me. I went to Doctor today and she didn't even bother with a test or bloods (as I had bloods done a month or so back with FA stuff) so I won't get to see results from that to just know that everything is ticking over nicely. Will see about getting MW to order some though

I felt a bit like that when I first went to the Dr's, I don't have a history of MC. Up until the 12 week scan all I had was a +ve HPT as proof of being pregnant, I didn't have any MS and apart from a missing AF which I'd had whilst TTC there wasn't anything else.
Thankfully of course at the scan everything was perfect and my baby was happy and healthy.

Hi and congratulations! I'm 8 weeks today with our first baby from IVF, and I've been going crazy with nerves and anxiety. I have had regular blood tests though which have helped keep me calm so I would definitely suggest asking your midwife. Our midwife has been really accommodating and reassuring with us and is happy for us to have any extra scans if we feel worried.
So you're definitely not alone with the worry and nerves!Hope the next few weeks fly by for you!
