ok ladies this morning when i went to the loo finished my business and wiped as you do i noticed my discharge was a lightish brown/(a little red) and of course I freaked out since then (5am) theres been barely any only a little very light brown ( like the very very end of my period) I havnt really been having any stomach cramps ive always had very very light small 'twinges' I'm about 13 weeks so I dont know if this is something I really need to worry about now or if it got worse?? I was wondering if maybe a had scratched myself randomly in my sleep or something. I dont know, I also dont have a midwife yet so I cant be all neurotic to her.. Please help.. Has anyone else experienced something like this? and sorrt for the TMI!!

i had this round 6/7 weeks or so. i had an early scan and everything was fine. as long as it isnt bright red id say keen an eye out but wouldnt panic. since you dont have a midwife you could call the local maternity ward as thats what i was told to do since i didnt have a midwife through my pg

I have had bleeding with all 3of my pregnancies, my first one I had a miscarriage, that started out with some pink/red stuff, then went brown, had a scan and it showed my baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks(I was 7 weeks when I bled).
My second(my son), I bled pink/red at 5 weeks freaked out cos I thought I was having another m/c, had bloods done and a scan that showed everything was fine, when i had my scan a week later It showed a 6 weeks sac with a little blob and beating heart :)
My thrid!(my daughter) I bled AGAIN at 6 weeks(was so pissed off) so I had a can at nearly 8 weeks and bubs was fine.
*hugs* I would definitley be getting onto a MW though, and for the time being see your dr.

I've had spotting on and off throughout my whole pregnancy so far, usually brought on my (sorry if tmi) a bowel movement, or sex 
Your spotting sounds just like mine and although I'm not saying that something won't happen, for me it has become one of those pregnancy things.
The first time it happened I freaked out and called my midwife. I still worry a little each time it happens (less now) but I've had three scans and each time there has been a healthy little baby.

I had it this pregnancy from 6 weeks till 11 weeks.. everythings fine now.. your midwife may give you a scan.. mine showed I had a area of blood in there (sorry can't remember the correct term). Good luck

i had light brown discharge in my last pregnancy which unfortunately was not a successful pregnancy, had no other symptoms other then the light brown discharge for a week and then i miscarried...
i hope this doesnt happen to you but as you can see above lots of bleeding is nothing to worry aobut, but none of it is normal so always pays to get it checked
this pregnancy have had very light brown light discharge about 3 times now for one or two days and its been nothing, i relate it to having a low placenta or irritating my cervix when i have a BM maybe.. not sure though as nothing could be found on scans..
