Hello mothers

Today i got diagnosed with gall stones, two of then the size of peas, and the way to controll not having pain attacks is not to eat any fatty food and no dairy, how hard is that going to be when you are pregnant! all i wanna do is eat, no matter what it is.

What im asking really is, has anyone else been diagnosed with the same thing whilst pregnant? What did u eat to prevent having attacks?

Any advice would be muchly appreciated

You can still eat those foods, I had/have gallstones (was diagnosed whilst pregnant) I just had to really limit it (I was having takeaways about once a week and had to limit it to once every 3ish weeks) umm... I was told you could still eat dairy though. But perhaps that might be something to do with heart burn that also goes with it - I don't know.

Basically everything in moderation, try have a balanced diet of fruit, veges, and all the other food groups and you should be fine. You can still have fatty foods just don't have it at every meal.

Gallstones really suck but you soon work out what you last ate before an attack and can work out a pattern, for me it was burgers of any kind or baked beans!
