LOL!
RRT is usually from about 35 weeks I think. I've started everything then .....
My MW's recommendation re the 5W is to take 1/2 of what they say, and that should mean you only need to buy one to get you through the last 5 weeks.

I started it at 35weeks last time (and had Chelsea 12days later lol but sure that wasn't the tea's fault) so I'd leave it a few more weeks
can't help with the 5W though, haven't heard of that. You can tell me if it's any good though

From 34 weeks is usually recommended. But I drunk it from 28 weeks during my last pregnancy with no side effects.
My midwife swears by 5W - she gets it cheap too. $25 a bottle compared to about $40 I have seen elsewhere.

This will vary from LMC to LMC... the packet of RLT that I have says you can start drinking it from 28 weeks, 1 cup a day... at 32 weeks up to 2 cups a day and from 36 weeks 3 cups per day. I asked my LMC and she said it was fine to follow the instructions on the packaging.
RLT wont induce labour, it just tones your uterus. A lot of LMC's dont actually understand how it works so tend to recommend from 36 ish weeks. Some research actually states that its safe all the way through pg... though dont think I would risk it tbh. Bear in mind it can make your BH much worse!
I am taking the 5w but it was given to me (very kindly) and also started the naturo pharm pre birth spray last week... this I have heard great things about particularily the birth spray, my mw says everyone she has seen use it has had a short second stage, thats what I like to hear

I'm already drinking a rasberry tea blend at the mo....just waiting to drink the real deal lol
Hmmmm the 5W was $40 where I saw it...and it was gelatine capsules which I can't have as a vego so guess I'd have to open them up and pour the powder into food or something? Or does someone do a vege version?
