Hi guys

I was just wondering what you all have done to help your baby-daddies cope and recover?

My husband has been super-supportive, but he's so sad and I don't know how to help him. It seems that for us, I've had to deal with the m/c in 'real time' as it's been so tied to the state of my own body, while he's put me first and only now that I am out of the woods is it all sinking in for him. He says that for him it's like a light slowly going out. I guess it was like that for me too, but my light is about two weeks ahead of his light!

I'm trying to come up with DIY plans and stuff to keep us busy and positive about the future, but maybe I am pushing him too fast? Was there anything you did that helped when your man was grieving?

Thanks x

I was just there for him...my DH was upset when I m/c but it didnt hit him until a week or so later and he cried on my shoulder for ages.
We talked about it a lot and just supported each other best we could. I didnt want to try again for a while, he did, but we ended up trying again next cycle and fell pregnant with DS :)

Its such a hard time *hugs*

Lots of cuddles and talking got us through things when it happened. For him I think focusing on the future helped him get over the loss. I do see the longing in his face when he's playing with our 18 month old nephew which just kills me. We both know when the time is right for us it will happen again though. Knowing that makes it okay for us.

Everyone does deal with it differently and also takes their own time too. Just continue to be there is all you can do. Hugs to you both.
