Hiya, just wondering how you freeze your EBM, in what containers etc... I have the advent via cups but dont want to freeze 200ml at a time! I have heard about freezer bags that have compartments or something.... Where would I get these from? Thanks in advance

Just get normal Glad bags from the supermarket. They're sterile till opened and cheap as, when compared to the "proper" (ie branded and expensive) EBM containers.

The girls in our forum were talking about Swispers bags which are a 'cheap' version of them. I had a look at some bags at Baby Factory/City and they were something like $40 for 2

I tbh express into a bottle and freeze it that was but in 100ml blocks iygwim.

My MIL said to use Glad bags too Not a bad idea I suppose!

The Medela ones range from about $25-$30 for 20 and are readily available. The Swisspers ones used to be stocked at Foodtown/Countdown etc, but a few weeks ago they told me they were a deleted line, and I bought the last ones remaining on the shelf at the only Countdown that had any left (their customer service line contacted me to say where they had remaining stock). I've frozen so much I prefer the smaller bags and the double seal on the Swisspers, so I hope someone else stocks them but I haven't been able to find where.

I use the Swisspers ones too, its all I've ever used and I can't complain. I'm pretty sure they still have them at New World. I've definately seen them at our local grocery store

I froze EBM in a tupperware ice tray with a lid, then put the blocks into standard ziplock bags with the date written on them. That way I could pull out just the amount of blocks I needed for a feed.
