Our house doesn't have room for a dining suite and I feel like Ava (19months) is getting too big for her highchair. For those of you who don't have dining suites, what alternatives to a highchair are there? My sister suggested getting Ava a small table and chair set and getting her to have her dinner on that, but I'm not sure.

Daniel still uses his high chair at almost 3.

Could you get a little persons table and chair set?

My Dad made my DS a table and chairs for his birthday, we dont have a dining table either, he sits in between us so its all like we are sitting together, he loves it. No more high chair, and he is 12.5 months now... (must change my ticker!)

Jake still uses his highchair at almost 3 - we have one at the dining table that fits on a chair and either sits him directly at the table or uses a tray and another stand-alone wooden one that converts into a table and chair and thats always set up in the lounge so we have both options.

LOL we just sit on the couch and Ava has her dinner before us, in her highchair, in the kitchen.

Same as our house - its got no dining room.. very strange house. No room for a table for us either!. We sit on the couches etc, Thomas has his dinner in his highchair. I've currently got on lay-buy a table and chairs for him and the new one so they can eat at a table.
I'd suggest a little table and chair for her! Not those crappy plastic ones tho - Thomas's nanna has one at her house and he just gets ticked off and throws the table across the room. Wood is the best!~

My girls are still in their highchairs for meals. Although we no longer use the trays and just push them up to the table.

If you were looking for a table that didn't take up much space we have something similar to this as some of our previous houses were pretty small!
