Topic: Now what? Posted: 18 August 2009 at 9:55pm |
For all my fellow mc ladies, I need some advice...
Well after two mc's and after 2 and expecting (I think) a third cycle... What do I do?
I'm scared to get pregnant, but I want to try.... And now with my previously lovely 28 day cycle turned into a 32 cycle, I'm sitting on one day overdue and I'm thinking if I am preg great (scary but great), if I'm not... I'm so waiting a bit longer because 3 mc's in a year sounds like a receipe for disaster.
My doctor did the clotting blood test and nothing... Her only suggestion was the recommendation of her fertility consult was baby asprin... thats a real cure.
So ladies, with the lack of real maternity care in NZ and lack on any real knowledge or follow up - what do you do?
i"m all for jumping of high cliffs with an outgoing tide blindfolded but this feels worse!

It also makes it worst that if my first pregnancy had worked out I'd be on maternity leave right now and expecting a baby in 2.5 weeks...

Hi M2Bee
I've also had 2 m/c's (sept 09 and mar 10) and am pregnant again. It is a scary time but I really really want this baby so I'm trying to stay focussed on the positives (good blood tests results yesterday ) and just taking one day at a time. It's hard but I figure the reward at the end will make all the stress and heartache worthwhile.
Have you done a HPT yet?

The only think I'm doing differently is cutting back on coffee. Only having one cup of decaf a day - if that.
