just when you get over one stage another one arises, this time it is the b word. I do swear a bit so I am far from perfect, but i hardly ever use that word so am guessing she has picked it up from a friend somewhere so how do I stop it? and how long do I have to put up with this phase? Please tell me not long....please also tell me where my beautiful little girl went, before she could swing her arms and hit things, talk, kick her feet out and scream blue murder she was just so perfect

Hmm...Zaara at one stage picked up "sh*t" from us as we both use it alot and dont even realise it! But then when we heard her say it, we were in shock. So we make sure now that we dont say it infront of her....and I found that after a week or so of not hearing it, she never repeated it!!

Children are like that!! Dont worry she will forget it soon enough...just make sure you find out where it ame from tell them to be careful infront of her.

I would speak to her nice and calmly and explain the concept of swear word sand how they aren't nice to say.

I would also warn her that if you hear those words then she will be straight in time out (if you use it) or some other form of reprimand.

Hannah's latest is to attribute swearwords to someone else so that she can't get in trouble for saying them - "Ethan says 'what the f***' aye mum?" Grrrrr.

Wellll I'm heading halfway there tomorrow!

Going back to Rotorua for the weekend.

Maybe I'll make it up to Auckland some point this year. My cousin is having a babe in June so I'd like to head up and meet the little one.
