Do your toddlers just space out totally for around 5 to 10 secs at a time? Elle does it and then starts talking, then blinks then gets on with whatever she is doing. It's weird! I figure it is a day dream but remember reading somewhere that toddlers don't day dream...

Good grief, I do that alllll the time and I'm not epileptic! (or am I???? LOL)
Anyone can daydream if the have a brain and an imagination. Benjy certainly plays simple imaginary games and Elle sounds like she's got a pretty decent brain on her!
Sounds completely normal to me.

Yep Isla does it all the time,...like several times a day,...we can wave our hand right in front of her face, and call her name, and talk, but she doesnt snap out of it til shes ready! Its usually about 10 secs too!

Remember that McDonalds add when u see the people with filing cabinets in the guys brain,...and they have to find space for the new information?! I like to think that when Isla blanks out,...its just her brain adjusting to all the new info that she's taking in! Lol!

She may just need a bit of personal quiet time? Briona does that but to music - almost like she goes into a trance. I think because she is such a full-on child, she just needs to get into her own space every now and then.
