Topic: weird dreams Posted: 07 November 2005 at 3:55pm |
Boy i have been having some weird dreams lately, very weird dreams,
Last night i dreamt i was in the middle of wellington doing some errands, when all of a sudden i was holding my baby, who was only 16wks along (just the same amount as i am pregnant now) and then she was back inside me and her head was pushing on the right side of my stomach and her feet on the left side.
I say she as ive always felt i was having a girl but in my dream she was a girl as well.
Boy i hope its normal to have weird dreams

i dreamt jake was a little girl born on Oct 18th. ended up being a boy on 25 oct. Also dreamt that when i was breasfeeding him, he turned into a cat and his head fell off. my midwife said one of the reasons we have more vivid dreams is because we wake up more easily and so we remember our dreams more. Really they are just as disturbed as before being preggers just we remember them.

I think its coz i have been feeling really insecure lately even though we are getting married in 4 weeks lol

One old wive's tale that has always stuck in my head for some reason is that if you dream your baby is a girl then you will have a boy and vice versa. I keep dreaming I'm having a girl, but I think that may be cos I (not so) secretly want to have a little girl and think about it a lot.
I love hearing about people's random dreams - I did a study on dreams and dreaming for a clinical psychology paper at Uni.

I dreamed girl all the timea s well, but deep down, although I was saying different, I knew baby was a boy. Hubby wanted a wee girl, as he already has a son. I dreamed quite vividly about baby girls? Maybe it was pressure form him!

Hey there,
I'm new to all of this, so bear with me!
but i had dreams from the word go that i was having a girl. I had always wanted a boy first, and just had that gut feeling that it was definitely a girl...
I'm due in about 10 weeks time and we found out that we are definitely having a girl! So I say go with what your deepest gut feeling is!

I was right with both my kids - I hadn't even picked a boys name with Kiya, cause I knew she'd be a girl!

I have a gut feeling this baby is a girl. I don't know why - but I really do think it will be. It can't hurt that I would love it to be a girl, but I just get girl 'feelings', you know what I mean! I've done a couple of those online gender prediction tests, and both of them have said 80% chance of having a girl (y'know, cos they're, like, sooooo real )

I'm like that - part maori, but white as snow with green eyes and blonde hair (hmm, not so naturally blonde now tho ). I'm having visions of a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes (Jono has blue eyes). Been having really odd dreams - last night I dreamt I was with a friend who was giving birth - two pushes and the baby (dressed in one of our Baby Gap outfits) was out!! weird
