Topic: Jaek and Joey nearly got killed Posted: 22 August 2007 at 2:40pm |
and not just from their mad mothers either. Lil beggars ran off and dissapeared from us, right near a busy road!!!!!
We went to a farewell lunch at a pizzaria that has a huge back yard, and there were quite a few two year olds and they were all playing nice, and I look around and no Jake. Further investigation reveals no Joey either. Baby gets dumped and us two fattys were off running (not a pretty sight) screaming for our boys who had escaped through a hedgey area into the carpark of the adjoining property and they were off. We find Jake first, who had the decency to look scared, but no Joey. Some random man diner and another mum and her son helped us, and we found Joey, about 5 minutes later. they had been through a motel area (!! one more property over..) and the cleaners had seen them, they went down the back of the motels, Jake must have decided to clear off then, and Joey decided to explore some more.
The boys had a whale of a time, and we were worried they had run away for ever. They were sooo lucky (that we didn't kill them) man, it was freaky.

Scary! I'm glad you found them and they were ok. Are they at all scarred from their adventure or maybe you'll be getting fit the hard way from now on?

Oh the amount of times I've almost killed Hannah. Isn't that feeling horrible?!? The lump in your throat stays there for hours.
Glad they are alright. And rest up ladies. Annie you have a drink... Ana.. hrmmm... a cup of tea?

Oh No! to you both!
Isn't it great when horrible things like that happen and even though you're clearly upset and beating yourself up about it, you still get a lecture about what you should have done to prevent it?
