Apparently it can happen with placenta previa, and everything can be totally fine. I really hope it's something like that, thinking of you lots xxx

I had terrible bleeding at 21-23ish weeks and everything was fine, maybe a bit of TMI but it was after naughty cuddles and according to the hospital your cervix is pretty fragile during pregnancy so its more common than people know about. Hope everything is a ok xx

I had a huge amount of bleeding out of the blue at 13 weeks, just days after my 12 week scan which showed everything was fine. Went for another scan that day and everything was still fine, they couldn't find any reason for the bleed, even said that it quite likely isn't even pregnancy related(?!) They went on to say that after the 12 week mark things are pretty unlikely to go wrong as all the organs are already developed.
Hope everything is ok, not fair having to wait to see either.

Scan went well!!
Unending relief to see baby wriggling, as you can all imagine!
The lady couldnt see any major reason for the bleeding, cervix closed, placenta away from cervix etc. So just carry on I suppose and take it easy, and attempt to catch up on all the sleep I lost last night worrying about the little one!!!! (you would think it would get easier the more pregnancies!!!)
ETA - Thanks heaps for all the thoughts guys, didnt expect it...

Oh, that's wonderful. I've been checking in constantly to see if you'd updated So glad it's all still going well.
Did they suggest you take it easy for a bit, or is it life as usual?

Hi 2race-cars
I just saw your post, and am glad to read that your scan went well
This is my first pregnancy and at 13/14 weeks I had random spotting on & off for 2 weeks. I was so worried until I had a scan to see that everything was fine. They never did find out the reason for the bleeding. Just one of those weird things!
