Near miss... Ayja again.

lol, again, miss Ayja has managed to well and truely freak out mummy and daddy - although not quite as much as the last few times and she didn't actually get hurt this time.. although it could have been bad.

she is a bit of a bath-maniac. you mention the word and she is tearing her clothes off as she stumbles up the hallway, especially when it's bubble bath (which they get to have together when i don't have to wash their hair)

anyway, i had run the bath, got all the stuff together and had shut the door to the bathroom, the girls wandered off into paris's room across the hallway while i went to the loo, mike was around, but in the kitchen, not overly concerned as i had shut the bathroom door. It is a sliding door, (stupid huh!) but is rather hard to open. Anyway, as i am coming out of the toilet i hear a weird i dunno, thud/plop noise, in that second i look and see the bathroom door half slid open, see only paris in her room and high-tail it to the bathroom freaking at what i am gonna find as i can hear no noise.

There is Miss Ayja, sitting in the bath, looking kinda surprised but rather happy with herself..........Fully clothed.

Usually when i am getting her undressed or if she's getting impatient while i put paris in the bath she'll try and get a leg up, but the bath is very high, her toes end up near level with shoulder if she gets her fott onto the bath edge.   but hey, i have no idea how she did it, she obviously decided to climb in. she didn't fall, as the top half of her body was dry apart from a couple of wet patches in her hair.


Mike came in and took a couple of photos, which i can see she looked a bit funny, but also i thought no way should he be letting her think this was ok.

and no, she didn't open the door, Paris had decided to go into the bathroom to take off her undies and pants, then had gone bare bottomed back into her room leaving the bathroom door open, so needless to say she got a little lecture too.

we are now looking into a lock or something to go at the top of the outside of the door to stop little people opening it.

What a naughty monkey she scared me so much.

ha ha, Alyssa just came over and looked cause i was having a giggle and lissy said. "she's having a bath with her clothes on..... Shes a naughty girl........ hmmmm can i do that?"

Im glad everything turned out okay Janine.

BTW Miss Ayja is looking very grown up.

Janine our new place has really low bath sides and Briona can climb in easily So I know the panic feeling. She climbs into the paddling pool just as quickly lol

But Ayja looks sooooooo very proud of herself in that second photo - so cute!

he he ha ha...sorry had to laugh...that is sooo cute and scary all at once!!

Our bath is high...even tho Zaara cant even walk yet...she tries to climb in to it...can not imagine what it will be like when she is a bit taller and walking????

Glad she didnt hurt herself and the lock is a good idea...I think!!

lol.....well I can only laugh and be thankful that we only have a shower, but that didn't stop Anastasia (just gone 1year), not quite walking climbing up the stairs to the trampoline and getting into the middle of the matso she could have a bounce - all in the blink of an eye as it usually is. God they do some scary stuff!!

At least she enjoys her baths lol

Sorry i had to laugh, but very scary at the same time....A lock on the outside sounds like a very good idea!!
