    Posted: 10 January 2009 at 10:28am

Leo is doing fantastically with his toilet training, it has been 2 weeks now and he is in undies during the day and pull ups when we go out (just in case) but he is telling me when he needs to go and getting to the toilet on time, he has even had 4 mights of a dry night nappy so I am thrilled Poos however is another story! He is pooing in his undies, and if he has no pants on he will just go on the floor!  Any ideas?  Or is this something that will just come in time? When he does that I just say Poos goes in the toilet and we go and flush it and I sit him there as well.

Sometimes it takes longer to master the #2's because it feels uncomfy when it comes out. Keep being positive and reward him when he does make it. Unfortunately it's just a matter of riding it out until he feels comfy enough to "sit" when he feels the urge.

Same thing happened with us...we ended up turning it into a game of not letting the "sneaky poos" out. He ended up delighting in racing to the toilet so the sneaky poo did not come out in his pants. Mind you it took us 6 mths to have him toilet trained properly during the day.
good luck!!!

We had Leah walking around today holding her bottom so nothing falls out as she put it!!!!  But it still fell out on the carpet. We have only been doing the TT thing for a week and this is our first accident so not toooo bad going.
