Might need to report me as well. But there is no way I can stop him from eating them. I tried putting them up higher but the cat is in on it and knocks the dish down to Xanda. Kazzle I hear you on the flies, X's daycare made them pikelets one day with choc chips and called them dead flies, so Xanda figured dead flies tasted okay and went around the house looking for real dead flies lol.

Ew. I hate flys sooo much. They thoroughly disgust me. Michaela's picked up on it too and she laughs hysterically as she chases a fly around the house trying to kill it.

Ashlee loves picking up a piece of newspaper and swatting the flies just like DH does, all while telling them to 'go away!'. So funny. She's scared of them for some reason
Kaz, that's pretty gross, but I guess you've got to laugh!!! If it's good enough for the cat...

Yup I've caught Kahtrell with his hands dipped in the tinned cat food. Ahh gotta love kids and their inquisitive nature!

Have caught Leah eating dead crunchy spiders off the deck and of course she loves cat biscuts! Have now put a gate up to the laundry so she can't get them so she goes around the house to the laundry door and puts her hand through the cat flap trying to pick up stray ones of the floor.

LOL. Gina has eaten the odd cat biscuit too - I think if you have a cat, that stuff just goes everywhere! It's darn impossible to keep kiddies away from it!

Michaela just pics up the stray biscuits and puts them back in oscars bowl. She hasn't ever eaten any catfood, although she tried a couple of time when she was younger.
One of her 'chores' is to feed the cat everyday so she's actually pretty good about leaving his food for him.

I've caught Ella eating the cat biscuits so many times that I have to buy dairy-free catfood even!!! You hear her clunking the dishes in the laundry, and go through to find her looking reeeeally guilty with her mouth full, trying to say "yum yum yum" without spilling any! Once she opened it too wide, out fell the cat biscuits and she looked at them like 'whaaat? how'd they get in there' but just said "OH-OOOHHH". I could swear she was waiting for me to turn my back so she could pick them up and shovel them back in!

...but we've got a friend whose nephew used to pick up sheep poops and eat them!!
compared to that, dairy-free cat biscuits, and the occasional bit of gravel don't seem so bad!

We don't have a cat, and don't have many flies even in summer (2nd story flat, they just don't seem to come all the way up here) but Seb managed to find a cockroach the other day... luckily he just picked it up and gave it to dad... rather him than me! Lol.
I don't know if I ate cat food as a toddler, but I diced my fingers up on a cat food tin (got into the fridge) nearly chopped the tip off one (was about 12-18 months old) I still have the scars!
