Zaara had no teeth on her first birthday (not that it stopped her from eating every thing) but from memory she had her first tooth at 13 months. at 2.5 she just has most of her teeth and even now her back molars are coming out!!

She the plunket nurse I think they said that if kids have some teeth by the age of two, its all good. But if you are concerned see the dentist!!

I know a little girl who was 15mos, her younger sister was almost as long. Can you check when you and her dad got your first teeth? Seems to run in families

we have a slow teether too. She only had the 2 bottom ones by her first birthday (first tooth came through at 10 months). She's nearly 2 and still only has 11. I'm not worried as there's nothing you can do about it (I don't think!?!?). She'll probably be in high school before she loses her milk teeth LMAO

Michaela is a slow teether too. I can't remember her exact age when her first came through (just remember it was later than most babies) and she still has a few more to go before she gets a full set.

I have been told that the longer teeth spend developing in the gums the stronger they are and subsequently their big teeth take longer and are stonger too.
