...with my girl.

She is such a different girl. So happy, relaxed, confident.

Last night DH and I went out and her uncle looked after her. From the moment he arrived she was up on his knee, reading books, cuddling and playing. They stayed up until 9pm together then he put her down....no fuss...she just blew him a kiss and said bye.

Then this morning I had to rush to hosp her her Poppa came over and got her up etc. She was 100% fine with this.

THEN Emma picked her up from her grandparents and took her to Chipmunks. This is HUGE for Elle. She has never been picked up by a friend and taken anywhere let alone such a busy place. She had a ball!!

I can't believe how happy, wonderful and well-adjusted she is. We are stupidly besotted with her and so proud of her confidence. I finally feel like I'm doing a great job as a Mummy as Elle is positively thriving.

Hope you don't mind me sharing...I don't want to brag I'm just so thrilled with the changes and since many of you have followed our struggles, I thought you might like to hear the good outcome. I finally have complete peace of heart and mind in knowing she is happy and healthy.

Like I said to you yesterday Fiona, I really could see the difference in her.

Well done to you and A. It's clear to me that the both of you have worked really hard to find the right kind of solution to help Elle get to a better place, and clearly you have.

You should be proud of yourself too.

I've never met you or Elle but I'm really glad to be reading this as I know how hard you've tried. You do deserve to feel like a good mummy

Yay Fiona, I'm glad you're feeling really positive and that Elle is doing so well, she really was a piece of cake this morning compared to the clingy, grumpy gremlins. THEY were a waste of $6, they spent the entire time glued to my side eating wedges! Elle took off no worries!

As for sleeping..she is sleeping through. No rocking for over a week now :) All because of the osteo.

Fiona, I am so very delighted to read this I know how hard you have found things with Elle, and how difficult her little quirks have been for you to deal with. It really sounds like she has come in to her own - its wonderful!

How are you feeling after your scary hospital trip? Hope you are ok. I'm not normally a praying type, but I did spend some time thinking of you when I read Emma's post, and in the end it turned out to be a prayer.

Big hugs to you and your family.
