I'm 9wks pregnant. I had a scan on tuesday when I was in hospital and baby was rolling round happy as kicking legs, waving arms and had a strongly beating heart. I've had severe morning sickness/hyperemesis for a month and been feeling hideous. They gave me Ondansetron on Tuesday and I had it yesterday too. Today I woke up feeling slightly seedy but otherwise perfectly ok. TOTALLY not the norm! I have a history of MC and I've spent all day stressing that maybe, somehow, baby died between Tuesday afternoon and today and my HCG levels (that have been extremely high with all my BTs therefore making me so sick) have had an immediate drop. I've had some cramping but I also have a bladder infection so had cramps for a week or so now.

Am I being like totally OTT ridiculously worried about absolutely nothing??? Or is it a valid worry?? I've had moments of ickiness but really nothing which after being sooooo sick sent me into a spin...

I agree, it's much much much more likely the Ondansteron is working! esp with the strong heartbeat and active bubba... Congratulations on a great scan!!

Even if I haven't had any Ondansetron today?? I know I know lol stress bunny!! Its just been a shock after being so hideously sick for a solid month now, I mean I've already lost over 2kg
If it hadn't been for the scan I'd be running around like a clown at the circus whos just discovered his house is on fire and his hose doesn't work
I think like between the MCs and the hyperemesis if I lost this baby I'd just lose the heart to want to try again

I woke up this morning and chucked my guts (just coz I know you all needed that mental image ) til I took another Ondasetron tab so yep I was panicking over nothing and yep you were all right lol the drugs were working just fine and thats why I felt ok. Whew! I forgot how much you worry when you get pregnant!! And Emmecat my MW should be seeing me today so I'll ask her to check the HB just for the extra reassurance.

Now I feel like abit of a dick lol
