So DS has always been a great day sleep - and just last week would do at least two hours an arvo, more often than not I'd wake him after 3 - 3.5 hours. He's got a cold/nasty cough, and is now not sleeping during the day. He's reasonably happy (other than a horrid cough) but I'm wondering whether he's giving up day sleeps or whether it is just being sick? Surely he would shorten them first wouldn't he?

Nup, Cooper has just dropped his cold turkey, was a 2 1/2 hour sleeper during the day, 7-7.30pm bedtime. God help us if we deviated...today I managed to get him to sleep & he's been up & down like a yo-yo tonight, he was up just 10 mins ago!!

Same here - six weeks ago I could absolutely count on two or three hours of peace from DS, but then he just decided not to! I haven't put him down for a nap for over a month - if he does sleep for more than forty winks he won't go to bed until 9pm. Of course, with no nap he barely makes it past 5.30...so that is an issue we are having to deal with. I keep reminding myself that in a few months it should all be fine

Yep no nap again, he went to bed at 7.30pm but could have easily been in bed at 6.30pm
