Cross fingers that the dating scan can narrow it down to one or the other???

Congrats on your pregnancy It's an emotional time without any added stress so take care of yourself. This is not the first time a situation like this has happened and it won't be the last, they are as much to blame as you are so you have not 'ruined' anyones life!

Enjoy your scan tomorrow, it's a special time and then worry about figuring things out and telling potential fathers.

Congratulations.
Situations like this may not seem idea to most but that doesn't mean to say that there will be any less of an amazing outcome. You've obviously tried without conception before so that may have been the reason for lack of protection which as understandable. You were never malicious in anyway or could have predicted that perfect conception timing.

Don't get caught up on thinking your ruining anyones life! This is your pregnancy to do it how you please. Enjoy it because your going to get a lil baby at the end.

Best of luck with your scan

Life throws us curveballs and it easy for others to judge but unless they have walked in your shoes, get them to mind their own business. Do whats best for you and bubz. Its hard to think clear at this point but it will come, and give the 'dads' the opportunity but don't rely on their strength, rely on yours. Good luck

Well done for telling him. And for not being too cut up by his opinion of termination. It is completely your baby to do whatever you like with. I wouldn't let anything he say let it influence you at the moment. I think you have such an awesome attitude to the situation.
Congrats on the scan and hope to hear lots of exciting updates in the due feb thread.

I had my dating scan today and I'm measuring bang on 6 weeks (which doesn't really make sense to me, so I have a feeling its a bit off).

Just in case you didn't know, when you are 6 weeks pregnant, it means you conceived 4 weeks ago. The way they work it out is a bit strange :)

Congrats hun and big hugs. I think your so strong and amazing for telling him you don't need anything from him. Good for you. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. I am pro choice but I have yet to meet a person that regrets having their baby. My twins were a big surprise for my husband and I. We weren't even planning on having even one baby at the time so to find out it was two was really scary. We considered termination but I look back on the last 3 years and I'm so thankful we didn't :)

Congrats on your pregnancy. Judging by how strong you are being now, you will do just great.

Dating is a pain at times. The best way to calculate is the first day of your last af. The first day of a missed af which is 4 weeks from the first day of the last af is considered 4 weeks pregnant. So if they say bub measures 6 weeks, you have technically been pregnant 4 weeks, but would have only found out 2 weeks prior on the first day of your missed af - hope that makes sense.

you can have paternity test while pregnant, my dads friend made his girlfriend do it(3years ago) as he had a vasectomy 15years ago so thought she must of been seeing someone else, which she hadnt but his sperm tubes had reconnected themselfs.

Im not too sure how it is done if amino or cvs test? but worth looking into as incase you didnt know.

my cousin was in same situation as you and had blood taken from cord at birth to be tested (13years ago thou) it took 6weeks to determine paternity.

It sounds like your own little miracle that you are pregnant. I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy your wee baby. Hopefully the 'Dad' situation doesn't become an issue for you! xx

Hmm maybe you could talk to your midwife and see if she knows anything about getting a paternity test done while you are still preggers? I heard that it could be done too but not sure where.

Good luck with your pregnancy and remember to keep smiling, a good laugh always makes things look better
