I have a complete subchorionic haemorrhage that caused me to beeld at 10 weeks. At the 20 week scan it showed it slightly covering the inferior margin of the cervix. Has anyone had one of these and sucessfully given birth vaginally? I had an emergency cs with DD and am prepared to have another one but would prefer a VBAC. My mw has referred me to the hospital earlier than the usual obs referral (I'm almost 24 weeks).

I had a subchorionic haemorrhage and bled from 6-17 weeks with my daughter. I was told that it would have no impact on the birth, although I think it might depend on why you had the haemorrhage. Mine was completely spontaneous with no known cause. But I'm guessing that you might have a low lying placenta (is that what you mean by it slightly covering the cervix?) and that is a different thing with different risks. I get the impression that for most women the placenta moves up as the uterus grows during your pregnancy but if it doesn't then I think a VBAC might not be an option. Sounds like you need to wait to find out more information and possibly another scan to see what the placenta is doing. Sorry, not much help.
