Topic: CarseatsPosted: 12 May 2011 at 2:26pm |

Ive searched but seems they are all older topics.
Im on the hunt for 2 new carseats. I cant afford to buy 2 radians. So id like to know other carseats that are similar but for cheaper price. DD is 2.5 although she doesnt have to be RF i would prefer to get a seat that will happily hold her until 25+ kg. Also is there a booster/convertible carseat perhaps from 8kg+ that is suitable for her or am i best getting a standard convertible. She is only 12kg so i dont want to put her in a booster but saw this link, unsure if its a good carseat though. Any other info on seats would be great. ThanksS & S Edited by _SMS_ |

How heavy is T? If your thinking about a booster have you looked at the monterey booster? link you can use it from 14 to 54kgs (so it will last her a lloooooooooonnngggg time!)
TBH I havnt really heard of many seats being able to FF to 25kgs (although just googled it, and I have never heard of them before but this came up?!) or this one? You could post on the car seat info FB page and see if they can offer you any suggestions, they know a lot about carseats so will know their stuff! |

What is Taylah in currently? And is she rf or ff?
Just quickly also the radian is on special till tomrrow evening at baby universe for $395 Radian Could you put Taylah in this, and the new baby in Taylah's current seat? That way only buying the one seat for now. Emmi, I don't think the monterey would be a good option yet, as she is small 12kg, and would be better in a harnessed booster. There are a few other options out there, but it would be good to know what T is in now. |

Woops i conveniently forgot to tell DP about the Radian special. Although i told him yesterday i was buying new seats. He said no i said yes. haahaha
Yeah that booster is no good T is still way to young & small for one of them. She is FF now. I guess i wont need another radian for around 1-1.5 years by the time the baby would need it so by then i might get one really cheap
