I've got a dodgy nerve somewhere in my pelvis, and very occasionally it will cause my left thigh (kind of front/outside faces) to hurt, like a burning pain and feel numb. In the normal run of things I even forget I have it, because it takes so much to 'set it off'. Standing in one spot seems to be the worst trigger.

When I was pregnant with DS, I had it a lot more often and a lot worse. It got progressively worse throughout the pregnancy starting around 3mths. At the time I thought that was bad enough.

When I got pregnant with this one, I remember thinking about 4-5 mths that it was odd I wasn't having such a bad time with the leg thing. Then I got to about 6mths and OMG! When it started it was already way worse than it ever was with DS. Now I'm 8 1/2 mths and it's so bad I just can't describe it. It keeps me up at night. I can't finish washing a load of dishes without being in agony. At 6mths, sitting down for a few minutes fixed it. Now it's with me almost constantly and I can't get comfortable.

What can I do?

I've been googling it and it seems I'm not the only one, but everything I've found on it just says I'm not the only one and doesn't offer any suggestions.

I would either see an osteopath or get Bowen therapy(LOVE Bowen therapy!!!)

My dads friend does it(bowen), and he did some adjustments on me last week, I have a dodgy hip/pelvis and sacroiliac joint, and he manipulates the muscles somehow(he just presses with his fingers), I felt amazing afterwards. he did something to my back/bottom and then something to my hips(that hurt cos they are so bung) but afterwards they felt heaps better.

Sounds like it could be sciatica or something very similar. I'd also recommend finding a good osteopath.
I haven't had experience with Bowen therapy to be able to comment on that, but it sounds like it might be worth a shot.
