I noticed the same thing with my toddler recently and one of the girls in our baby group has got a couple on her nose. Aged 2 and 9 months.

DS hasn't started getting them yet, though his brown birth mark has gotten heaps darker over summer.
My neice started getting hers about 18mths.

My 23mo has had hers for a while, I don't remember when she started. They've been there for months

I noticed a sprinkling across Amy's nose a couple of months ago and last week saw that there were a couple on her arms. Sophie does not have any yet.

I've been wondering this too (as a completely freckle-covered Mummy)...so far Nat hasn't got any (but is intrigued by mine!
