Hi,
Not unexpectedly I have stretch marks over my abdomen. They are so itchy though. I have tried bio oil and palmers organic scent free cocoa butter to ease this but to no avail.
Has anyone any other suggestions that they have tried and found worked?

Is there a rash too or just itchy stretch marks? I got PUPPPS which is a pregnancy rash and I could only ever find things to help temporarily. Icy cold water with a little lavender in it. Baby nappy rash creams and powders helped, also calamine lotion. If it's just the stretch marks I'd probably just try and make sure your tummy is well moisturised. I started off using aqueous cream as it's nice and mild. In fact I'm using it on excema at the moment and it helps that too.

I found the middle of the night the worst and kept wheat packs in the freezer and they were bliss till they warmed up. Later I discovered a hot water bottle filled with icy water stayed cold longer.

Hopefully it eases soon!

I think there is a bit of a rash, but the stretch marks are the most prominent part. Will try those ideas thank you.

I had a little bumpy/pregnancy related rash and super itchy skin in the last 3-4 weeks of my last pregnancy, it was SO uncomfortable especially at night. I went to my GP in the end who prescribed Pinetersol solution and it was a god send. I used it in the mornings in the shower and washed my skin with it but you can also add it in the bath and aside from the strong smell of it, it was fantastic and I never had any problems after that. You may be able to buy it over the counter, might be worth checking out. All the best

dont use calamine - it has phenol in it - its deadly poison - pinetarsol - yip soo smelly can be bought over the counter- is great the other thing is aveeno is good - if its keeping you awake and really bad a teeny bit of hydrocortisone will be ok providing you havent broken any skin from itching

Last pregnancy I had insanely itchy dry skin from about 18 weeks on, I found Alpha Keri oil on wet skin after a shower or in a bath helped heaps!

Hand sanitiser...strange I know, but the alcohol in it causes the itch to stop.

I use it all the time on itchy bites.
