Bad spelling, sorry!
Anyways, Thomas has got pusy discharge from both eyes, no pinkness but they're itchy. Not swollen either.. Do you think that might be what it is? We'll be going to the doc tomorrow later in the week cuz theres no appts earlier, but any help now would be good!

Is it green goo pooling in the corner of his eye, and his eye is weeping a lot? If so, yep it's conjunctivitis. My boy has just had it twice in 3 weeks! Stupid daycares - so easy to spread bugs!
You can get saline eye drops which are fine for over 2's (he's over 2 right? Going by your marriage ticker, pretty sure you got married after T was born?). Also, keep wiping his eyes (wiping only one way, and using the same piece of cloth only once) with a facecloth that has been under boiled water. Allow to cool then wipe. This helps a lot. Failing that, if it hasn't cleared in a few days, go and get antibiotic eyedrops from the Dr. That cleared Jack's 2nd lot in a matter of a couple of days.

my little one has just gotten conjunctivitis!
She had really gross sitcky greeny yellowy puss coming out her eye and it would get stuck in her eyelashes. Later that day the eye went red and was sore to the touch. I kept washing it gently with saline solution (water with a lil salt) and dried it afterward.
Important tip: don't let anything touch eye to eye! DH washed her infected eye with a tissue then wiped the clean eye as well and the infection spread to that one too. Conjunctivitis is super contagious so make sure you wash your hands really well, try not to let them touch/rub/scratch their eyes, be careful with your own eyes, and throw out tissues used to clean the eyes straight away.
We ended up getting some drops from the chemist for her (about $17) and they started working straight away (though what a blardy mission to get them in her eyes!) We are on day three now and most of the puss is gone, they just look quite red.
Good luck!

We have drops given by the DR today. He doesnt seem concerned and said as long as the drops are applied that Thomas can be at kindy. I guess because it isnt so bad and doesnt weep nasties all the time?

We've been using the drops from the chemist since Tuesday evening but they don't seem to be making much difference.
Should we go to the doctor or just keep using the drops if it takes up to two weeks to clear?

The chemist said that if we didn't see improvement within 2 days, we had to go to the Drs. There are a number of different ABs that can be used and they may need to be swapped. I definitely wouldn't leave it 2 weeks to go back.
