Can anyone recommend a Wgtn midwife that works in South/East. We live in Miramar. Had an Ob first time round but think we'll go midwife route this time around.

Have checked thread 'recommend your midwife' but only recommendations for people in North Wellington.

Might be a bit far but I had Judy Slankard at Birthworks last time and this time was in touch with her within an hour of a positive test!! I'm already sad thinking that I won't see her again after this one... she's amazing. But they are based in Taita which is a bit far!

I have Pauline Moran this time around (shes in Lyall bay) she does homebirths, but I think she might do planned hospital births too? Ive found her absolutely fantastic Ive also heard amazing things about Kass Ozturk (but she wasnt taking on any dec women when I rang)

AbzandH that was my midwife too, isn't she awesome!!! Say hi from me (she delivered my breech boy at home in May hehe)
