Topic: How big do your boobs really grow? Posted: 14 June 2011 at 1:38pm |
I'm only 5 weeks (and 3rd day of actually knowing) and this is one of the things I'm interested in finding out.
I'm already an F cup and have been all my adult life. My best friend from school was an FF/G and when she had her kids she went up to a J and is still there a year on.
Please tell me not all big boobed women get even bigger and stay that way? Shopping for bras is a nightmare at the best of times.
And if they do get humungous, which labels would you recommend (already aware of HotMilk through my work but always keen for actual reviews from customers).
Many thanks and be prepared for more questions!

Hmm well I'm only small - 5 feet 2 inches if that and was 54kg pre pregnancy. All up I gained about 15-16kg over the 9 months (I did lose about 3-4kg in the first 3 months so really only gained about 12kg) and my bra size was a small B cup and before I gave birth I was a large B cup/Small C cup!
For me personally my bra size didn't change until my milk came in with breastfeeding. I went from a large B cup to a large DD/small E in the space of about a night. Ouch! Anyway that was as big as my boobs got and they got smaller as time went on and are now back to if not smaller than pre pregnancy.

I'm big boobed..
With Daniel I started out a 12E/F (bra dependant) and grew to a 16G.
With Alex I started a 14F and ended up only JUST fitting a 16H.
But now I'm down to a 12E/DD but that's from weightloss. I'm 10kg under my pre preg weight.
Bra wise I've tried most brands out there. Everything really in NZ is crap if you get past a G. This was my fav... linky.. Elomi do great bras and Blest bras are amazing to buy from and are fine with returns etc

With my first pregnancy I went from a 10DD to squashing into a 10F. When I stopped bf-ing they went down to a 10C (YAY! - I was sooo happy!).
Now I am BF-ing no2 and they are big again :(

I went from a 12D to a 14E, but now since getting back to pre preggy weight my boobs have shrunk a whole heap and are back at 12D!

I've gone from 10DD to 10F and I'm at 28 weeks. I went thru a growth spurt at about 16 weeks ..... I'm expecting another increase when milk comes in but hoping I shrink back. I always loved my DD's but find it hard to comprehend 10F :) All for a good cause though and this is our first so it's starting to get exciting now so I'm not so focussed on my boob increase :)

Im just a little B cup and that didnt change until my milk came in, at which point I may have been a small D (was wearing a C Cup size bra). That settled down once my milk settled and my boobs wernt engorged.

My friends keep thinking my boobs have shrunken, but it's just my belly that has gotten huge!

I was a HH to start with and have stayed that size - they are certainly a different shape and about 4 times heavier - however except for an extender I have managed to stay in the same size, am dreading to think what I will be when milk comes in

I put on under 12kg with both my boys and what little of that wasn't baby was my boobs I swear!! I started out an 8-10E, went up to a HUGE (no idea what exactly lol), went back to an E cup (wasn't BFing) then up again with DS2 then back down to a D (BF'd him). It was the only area I showed *any* weight gain at all except for my bump and OMG it sooo showed it lol!

I felt so cheated. Went from an A pre-pregnancy to a B-ish during pregnancy (although had a C cup bra in that pre-teen girl brand you get at Farmers so I felt better about myself ). When my milk came in I was a C for a couple of days, and now I'm back in sad old B land . I'm imagining it's going to be even sadder when I stop breastfeeding.

I'm 40w + 3 pregnant at the moment (not that I'm counting or anything, heehee) and was a 12E pre-pregnancy. Now I'm wearing a 14F-16E depending on the brand. Will be interesting to see what my boobs do once I start breast feeding. They were pretty perky - as far as larger boobs go - pre-pregnancy but I think they will be looking downward from here on out ;)

I was a DD before pregnancy, got up to an H by the end of my pregnancy, that saw me through the early days with heaps of milk, and I've since gone back down to a G...hoping that I drop back further when I stop feeding in a few weeks...
As for brands, I found hotmilk quite unsupportive (I'm wearing an 18 right now. I have had some ugly white triumph bras (there is less choice in the bigger cup sizes) that were the most supportive.

I started off a full DD and am now filling G's!! My chest size hasn't gone up at all (Still a 14). My G's had a bit of room (purchased a cup size up for when milk came in) but overnight the other day my mams got even bigger . I do have to say that this is hotMilk I'm talking about. I've found with theirs you have to add about a cup size to what you would be comfy in and for bigger busted girls ALWAYS go for the full cup styles (otherwise I got really bad "foob" issues). And even though I'm not BF'ing yet (soon I hope) I've found the A frame support ones much better.
Like MrsJMcD I've found the Triumph ones to be great and was comfy in my 14E's for ages after I out grew my E cup hotmilk bras. But due to availability (or lack of) I had to go up a chest size to get the F cup in the Triumph so I have a lot of spare loops to hook into if my chest suddenly explodes lol.
Hope that helps and congrats on your pregnancy.

I went from a 16E (underwire) to a 16G (nursing bra) but if I put on my underwires, for exercise, then I'm the still a 16E, but they are definately a different shape and heavier. Triumph bras are great and seem to last longer than hot milk in my opinion.

I went from a 12C to a 14DD. They stayed like that even when I stopped breastfeeding. Who knows how massive they'll be this time? I didn't really notice too much change until my milk came and they got huge - almost looked like a porn star they were so massive and solid.
I like Hot Milk but also I am influenced by how underwear looks
