Topic: What is is with the pasta!??!?! Posted: 15 April 2008 at 7:01pm |
Miss C comes home from day care, goes straight to the kitchen, gets her bowl and spoon out of her draw then stands at the pantry "PASTA PASTA!!!!!"
I wouldn't mind, but I know she can say other foods lol
She'll eat pretty much anything as long as pasta comes with it I've even started to be sneaky as she's going through that "no veg" phase (I'm still going through it now LOL) so I mush it all up and stir it into some spirals or penne and she woofs the lot up!
Her ultimate fav is spaghetti - she can even suck the strands up into her mouth

Glad to hear you can get veges into her! Alyssa loves pasta too but if it has the tiniest bit of meat or veg stuck to it she will spit it out.

yeah we used to cook up mixed veges, stick some spiral pasta in it, and have a little cheese sauce, but now the girls see past that. lol, so instead i grate up carrot really finely, or blend up other veges, and mix it in with mince bolognaise with noodles. Sneaky.

Oh I wish! Elle won't eat pasta and at the mo won't even attempt to eat anything that even slightly looks like veg! It's just fruit, bread, cheese, egg and milk in this house ATM. Pasta is totally rejected.

Gina can suck short strands of spaghetti too - looks so cute and funny. She's not into tomato based sauce either but will eat cream/cheesy sauces and loves it

Pea addict here too except they MUST be frozen! Anything else gets spat at Mummy
Caitlin eats what I think to a toddler is weird! She loves anything with a stong flavour - fav is chicken curry or pad thai
