You know those steroid injections they give you when you threatened to go into pre-term labour to develop the baby's lungs. Well, since I had them last week I've been super hot.
I know a lot of preg woman say they are hotter than usual - the incubator effect, but I haven't really had much of that and I'm not the type to be sitting there sweating for no reason.
Now I sit in a room where everyone else is wearing a jumper, I'm in a t-shirt and still feeling the heat.
I am wondering if it's a side effect of the steroids, or maybe I'm just a weirdo

Anyone else had this after the steroids?

Nope not that I can remember? But both times I have had them have been in winter and I've been in hospital for a while afterwards which is always temp controlled.

I had 3 lots of steriods and didn't feel like that. Sorry. Hope it settles down for you.

I had one lot of steroids but don't think I felt hot afterwards? Mind you, I was in labour so didn't really know what was normal or not. Apparently my feet were freezing though.

I had 3 lots of steroids with my 24weeker and yes I did feel particularly warm with the most wicked headache after all 3 times!

NO didn't make me hot, but the magnesium they gave did! the steriods help the lungs develop and the magnesium helps the brain, do you know if they gave you that as well?
