Does anyone have any hints on how to get a bf baby to drink cows milk?

DD is 10.5months and only having 2bf a day last one and first one, although she can go without the last one she only feeds for 2mins and gets distracted and still sleeps 10hrs on her own so am thinking of dropping that feed.

Anyway I know that with formula babies you can just do 1/4 cows 3/4 formula and slowly change it that way, but how do you do this with a bf baby?

I have offered her cows milk and she doesn't like it.

It's probably not sweet enough, couple of drops of vanilla or some golden syrup in it.

I kept offering Jody cow's milk (she was 12 months when I started) in the afternoon. It took a whole month then she just suddenly grabbed the bottle off me and guzzled it down like she'd been doing it for years.
Does your DD drink EBM from a bottle?

I don't like cows milk, I can't stand the smell or the taste.

My parents offered and offered and offered until I was 8, then they finally gave up.

They tried heating it so it was warm, altering the taste with, like A&C said, golden syrup, and going half and half with formula (up until I was 5, they kept me on forumla until then ).

Keep trying though I guess, I'm not sure what I'll do with my dd, I hope she likes it like her dad does! I can't have milk now as it goes straight through me iygwim.

Have you tried heating it though?

Yeah I'm not a big fan of cows milk either. I'll happily drink it if its chocolate though or to dunk my biscuits in hehe.

Hmm might try the vanilla essence, was thinking sugar but didn't want to do that because of the sugar factor.

Yep she drinks EBM from a bottle happily has since she was 5days old.

I will keep offering it to her, she has her sippy cup for water so may try using that instead of the bottle. She does drink from a bottle happily, she had a bottle of EBM in the car on Sat night because we were driving home from the airport and it kept her quiet.
