Hey lovely mummies, my Plunket Nurse has just suggested I join the 'forum world' so here goes nothing! I have a 3 month old girl, my first baby. She has never really been a good sleeper since day 1 - but I am still not able to get her to sleep any longer than 20 mins during the day! This would be fine if she was happy, and wanted to hang out all day but no...she is overtired, grizzly, and grumpy. I have tried white noise, swaddling, shorter/longer waketimes, putting her to bed awake, holding her until shes fast asleep...but 20mins later those eyes pop open and there is no amount of ssssshing or patting that suffices! I have also tried CIO...but it does not work, and really doesn't sit well with me so I'm not a fan! Anyone else having trouble with this? I am a final year nursing student at the University of Auckland who is currently going into a maternity/obstetrics placement in the Auckland region.
As part of my placement I need to get into contact with an expectant mother who is due end of March-beginning of May to help me with my maternity assignment.
The assignment involves discussion and involvement in prenatal care, the birthing process/plan and postnatal care. The assignment is not at all invasive, and involves a few visits at your home/chosen clinic and general conversation in regards to your experience as a new mother and your own personal journey.

I am a down to earth 21 year old girl with years of experience in childcare and a passion for child health. There is plenty of opportunity for childcare/nannying following the birth of your child (something i am currently very involved in).

Would love to hear from anybody who would be interested in getting to know me, and would be interested in assisting me in my assignment. Hi I am wanting to join the private forum :) Im due march 3rd ( i say ) dating scan says march 15th but hes measured 2 weeks bigger since 20 weeks.. so i want them to change date ! lol but they wont. hoping to meet some mums in same boat as me feeling their due date may be wrong . due date also doesnt match my LMP which I tracked really well . Hi,

Sorry I'm a late arrival. I still have my due group from last baby and didn't want to overcommit but I would love to be able to chat to people at the same stage as me.

I'm due 25th March. Queasiness and exhaustion is starting to ease off a bit now which is great. Not so good that I haven't had 12 week scan and haven't seen midwife for 3.5 weeks and when I did was too early to try for a heartbeat. And it's too early to feel baby kicking. So feeling a bit paranoid right now.

I'd love to join the private group if somebody could PM me the password and how to find the group please?

Hey Ladies, am due with #3 ...roughly estimate my due date around late March (may end up an April bub) waiting for my MW to come back from leave so I can get a referal for dating scan.

My kids are 6yo and coming up 4 months (yes, you read that right). Small gap eek, but definitely our last! Currently breastfeeding too!

Hi everyone,
I'm due March 31, had an ectopic in 2010 and worried by every little twinge. Am 41 so crossing my fingers this baby sticks! Had to beg GP for a blood test on tuesday to see what my HCG is doing: 4weeks and one day it was 109... Having another test Friday (4 weeks 4 days). Can't bear the wait... No symptoms yet... Bring them on!!! Hi All, I'm pregnant with our first, EDD 02/03/14

Seeing the doctor tomorrow and hopefully getting a date scan. I have PCOS so the EDD may not be accurate.

I am always tired and nauseous, hoping that eases as the pregnancy progresses!

Hello future baby mummas!! Congrats to you all!
We are 6 weeks today and due on the 13th of March. First baby for us and we are SO excited! I've been feeling a bit sicky over the past few days and the boobs are so big and sore!
First OB appt not till the 9th of August and I am so looking forward to it.

Hi, I am new to this thread from TWW also, I would also please like to join the private forum. Nervous to join a 'due in' forum since so early on but think it will be a positive move!! 1st pregnancy after 9 months TTC, BF clear Positive this morning & yesterday (after faint lines starting last Tuesday that have been getting darker every day). Booked in for 2nd set of bloods tomorrow which will hopefully show an increase in HCG from my reading last Wednesday at 3w+ 4 of 28. Fingers crossed there is a nice significant rise tomorrow! Please could someone send me the password? I'm excited about sharing this journey with you ladies!
