In both our families there are slightly more boys than girls (over the last two generations), but it's fairly even. In this generation there are my three girls and my BIL's daughter... and ... no boys. LOL

We seem to have more girls on my side of the family than boys. My sister has 3 girls, I have a girl & boy & my other sister has a girl & boy. So with me having another boy I think it's nice. That's pretty kewl!

We have the opposite.

My dad is one of 3, he has 2 sisters. his sisters each have 1 boy(their youngest) and then one of them has 2 daughters the other has 4 daughters i think. funnily enough.. most of those girls have, you guessed it, .. daughters too, there may be maybe 2 grandsons in the lot. And then of course theres my dad who has 4 daughters.

Mum is one of 3 girls, they have 4, 5 and 6 children respectively, mum has 1 boy 5 girls, one has 3 boys 2 girls, the other has 1 boy 3 girls. again majority of girls

and now in the grandkids mostly they are all girls, lots of girls from my cousins and the only reason our family balances out for me and my sisters is cos two of my sisters only have boys,

she will be the first girl born into my husband's family (their last name)since the birth of his dad's sister back in 1948.

my husband's parents have two boys and their youngest son already has two boys.

my fil's sister has a boy and a girl but they have the last name of their father.

his uncle (my husband) has two boys
