My MW recommended just using saline nasal drops. Well apparently doing the dishes is good for it! I guess the leaning over the sink of hot water does it! As I said, don't research things on the net.. lol I know all drugs have side effects but I don't like reading them. Amber, it did say that the use of the drug in pregnant woman hadn't been researched though.. as in the effects on an unborn baby were unknown..I am probably a little paranoid about medicine though, prefer to take nothing if possible. Meow, can I ask what was wrong with the Otrivin? It's just that I suffer from allergies and my midwife recommended that. Oh I know just the thing - my sinuses blocked just before I was due to be induced. I bought a nasal rinse kit. You get it from the chemist. Basically you mix the sachet into water and squirt it up your nose and it comes outt he other nostril with allt he crap.

it sounds gross and I suppose it is a bit, but it doesn't hurt at all, is totally safe and worked better than any other medication I have used for sinus in my life - it is now the only thing I will use.

Sinuses are all stuffed up! Have been for a week, I sound all nasal when I talk. I'm taking Otrivin now but just (yeah naughty!) looked it up on the internet and now I'm freaking out!
