You are right though, having to have it out on the bench and having to clean it would suck! I accidentally boiled the pot dry last night oops!! And it takes up quite a bit of room in the cupboard as well.  I got a Tefal one with my Fly Buy points.  I don't actually think it is that much faster than steaming them conventially.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Red</span>]]>

But I dont like them crunchy, so I cook til they are a little bit soft. Oh and I dont like rice out of it either - too sticky.
