I'm with you on the confusion. Before I got pregnant it used to frustrate me that pregnant women talked in weeks. But now I understand it is the ONLY way it makes sense. I'm neary 32 weeks which means 8 months but if you count back I have 2 months to go so I'd be 7 months. I now tell people i am 7-8 months and hope they dont ask anymore.

Months are really 30ish days right, but 4 weeks is 28 days and 5 weeks is 35 days. So each month actually is 4 1/2 weeks. I work totally in weeks, as the months don't quite evenly space themselves out. (It's like 52 weeks in a year at 4 weeks a month would actually be 13 months)
If I have to refer to months for any reason (like time left at work) I call them 'calendar months' so I don't confuse any one else. but i dont get this.

So, im 28weeks which is 7 months right?

And im meant to be pregnant for 9 months which would give me 2 months to go..
and pregnancy is 40 weeks.. which is 10 months.
but my ticker says 84 days left.. which comes to 3 months..
so that means i have 3 months left not 2..

Maybe its me, maybe its the baby brain but Im so confused
