I would just have a bit more every couple of days and in the last week more and more came away. I was 2-3cm dilated and fully effaced a couple of days before I went into labour as well.

PMSL. usually comes away once the cervix starts to dilate and thin as the cervix isn't keeping it in anymore.. hence why some people get it a few days before as their cervix starts to thin and others don't get it till they are in labour dependant on how fast and to what degree they dilate and efface i spose.

He he i had no idea either till i went to antenatal classes for #1 miss paris.. i was like "show? what's that?"
