hey girls, well just to update you were all correct getting me to call MW. I ended up having to stay in hospital for two days and I just got back this morning.
They don't know what it was that caused the temp and baby wasn't enjoying it much on Sat (heart rate of 180-190!) but seems to have got through it OK now so that is the main thing...still stuck in my belly though! Time to come on out little one!!!!!

I just need to rest (yay) and wait so thats what I'm about to do, goodnight

Definitely get yourself to the doc, a temp of 40 is bad even when you're not preggy. I would definatly call MW if not a doc - thats a really high temp and may indicate an infection or illness of some sort. Hi everyone,
just wondering if anybody has experienced high fever (40) then chills then fever then chills (you know the score) in late pregnancy without any major contractions. I am getting the odd BH, but no more than normal but just can't get warm even though I have a high temp.
