I have decided that I am going to use Henna. I used to use it way back in my student days and was nice and gentle on my hair. I have made a decision to not get my hair coloured at all while pregnant, and yes I have shocking re-growth already, not greys fortunately, but horrible boring mousey brown, with grown out blonde highlights - lovely!!!

when i was hairdressing we coloured pregnant womens hair all the time, also i have friends who continued hairdressing right through their pregnancy.
It is a personal thing though.
your skin may become very sensitive during pregnancy and you could get reactions, I know this time round my skin is shocking so I wouldnt attemtp it at all.

Have bumped a couple of threads for you! I think its one of those things where no-one really knows for sure if you should or shouldnt! Maybe use a rinse (a colour that last I think about 10washes) insead of a permenat(sp?) colour. Sorry if this is a repeat of a previous thread -

Popped into my office a couple of days ago and a colleague said to me "cant you dye your hair when you are pregnant?" - it wasnt a very subtle way to tell me that I had bad regrowth and my greys were showing!

Silly I know but it really upset me! So - can anyone tell me what the story is with using hair bye whilst pregnant? I spoke to my m/w who basically said - "its up to you, but I prob wouldnt use harsh chemicals". The only thing I can think of is going and getting a Henna colour from the Body Shop, but I can never put thos on myself without getting it all over me!!
