Hope everyone's had a good day. I've been busy. Went out and bought a lovely dress for a wedding I'm going to next weekend. Stoked as got it on sale, was $600 but got it for $199
Had my appt on K Rd which went awesome. The tattoo guys is doing drawings today and will go back tomorrow to check them out. Then visiting friends
Just got home and have ordered pizza for dinner with garlic bread, fries and lemonade
I'm still having the odd queasy moment and ov pain so I'm thinking i'm oving today. When I was at Shezzey she was funny and pulled at her laptop and we had a good analyzing session, made me feel much better about my temp drop today
Will hopefully gets a temp rise tomorrow to confirm it all. Fx!

Mel I think the last ones Nic bought were from joespansy or something?? I don't really like the heather ones cos they're so so thin but I figured if onions ones are them at least they're not too sensitive for me and they'll satisfy my need to poas for the zillion days I wait to ov LOL

Shez - I thought the david strips came in different senitivity levels - are they definitely the most sensitive?

I just booked my scan for next wednesday cos looks like it is af here at last..

I think with those ones you'd have to bear in mind the test line MUST be as dark as, or darker than control... and ignore any that are 'half-strength' I'll try them out, but if they turn out too dark even when nowhere near ov, then TM it is. I tried those Quickpeak ones the month I got preg with Jae and ended up with +ve tests 3 days in a row, I think they are pretty sensitive too

haha Jazzy - very true I just bought some yesterday off onions41 ... they're pretty cheap (30 for $25 including postage) and after the auction was over she emailed to see if I wanted to buy hpts which were $1 a strip... I still think the baby4u ones are the best but a little more expensive..

What one on TM is best to get, I was using the ones from the chemist quick something I think $25 for 6?, so long a go, but want to be a posa next time so want cheapies, lol.

I have been using the sensitive ones but not oracle ones BK and I have not gotten a +ive but some darkish lines .. I always get lines too....

Afternoon everyone!! I have been out all morning, having just walked in the door 20min ago, finally got that personal statement for the job application written and sent off. I am so tired now all I want to do is close my eyes and go to sleep! I have much to catch up on though no doubt, so no time for resting yet!

Also, one question: upon first wipe this morning, there was again creamy CM that had a slight pinkish tinge to it- does anyone know what this is? I haven't seen it yet again today (have only been to the bathroom at one other time though), and it's not like blood or anything. I'm wondering if maybe AF may come on the 25th instead of the 28th as it would have been due if not for the chem preg? Still, I don't recall ever seeing this before

They seem to be the norm now.. I didnt realise oracle ones were the sensitive ones Well we will see how they go next cycle and if I dont like them then I might sell them on TM and buy the ones I know and trust from saveontests.com

Jazzy I believe they are far too sensiive for OPKs... it is normal to have a resting LH level of 2-15ish so they could give lots of false positive... I think they need to be a minimum of 20...

The baby4u people orginally sent me a long email explaining how their ov tests are best cos you don't wanna be testing with more sensitive tests for ov (which of course makes sense) and now I see they're selling them guess they weren't competitive enough with their slightly more expensive ones...

Good attitude Shez - my friend gave me that book years ago (feel the fear and do it anyway) and I always think about it in approaching uncomfortable situation but too often chicken out LOL but always feel so good when I do face the fear

Shezzey thats whats I did last month I went for an interview for a teaching job I was so not sure about, wasn't sure it was the right job for me and didn't want to waste my time or theirs, and in the end it turned out to be the best opportunity ever for me, and I got the job. Right place, right time. This could be your right place, right time, so just see what happens. I nearly didn't go to my interview either because I was so unsure, and turns out it's perfect. My Mum always says its bad luck to buy clothes before you get pregnant, she's soooo superstitious it's ridiculous, she believes in things like not walking under ladders, not opening an umbrella inside, throwing salt over your shoulder if you drop it and don't put your shoes on the table cos it's bad luck. I don't really believe in those things but because my Mum always says it, I haven't bought anything but I do look lol

However the other day I was at Mums and she has this big collection of soft toys she likes, and one of the dolls was wearing this jnitted jacket that was way too big for it and I said Mum have you been buying baby clothes.... and she got all embarrassed hahaha! She knows we're ttc

i was thinking the other day that even if i get UTD i still have to wait 20weeks before i know if im having a boy or girl so have AGES to wait until i can start buying clothes

its the same when i see the capsule that i want on special, i cant buy it coz even when i get UTD still have to wait for 9months to use, i want to use it for all my kids (we will be having at least 2) so cant buy it to early as they expire

lol Helen, as you can see I somehow managed to get out of the 'no pink' way of thinking Although the majority of the stuff she wears now only has a little bit of pink, or none at all... so much easier once they get older and they can wear more than bodysuits and AIO's!

That was one of the hardest parts of TTCing.. seeing all this cute stuff, and decently priced, but I couldnt buy any of it cos I had no idea how long it would take, let alone which gender I'd end up with! I did buy the odd pieces here and there in both genders and some unisex, and then after the appointment when we were told we'd need IVF, I got in a bit of a snit and gave ALL the girls stuff to my ex and his wife as they'd JUST in that last week had a baby girl, and the boy stuff I was waiting for someone to have a baby boy and I was going to give it to them... sucks cos it was all brand new PP stuff too! I held on to the unisex stuff cod MIL liked it too (it ended up being the only clothes that she got to see, as she passed away less than a week before we found out we were having a girl!) and the boys stuff I held onto JIC and then chucked on TM when we foudn out we didnt need them lol

Ooooh my new video camera arrived today!! (kinda looks about the size of a PSP or iPod touch, and has that white plasticky technology look to it too lol!)

had a little play with it and now just waiting for madam to wake up so I can play with it (oops, I mean HER hehe) some more!

Right... I am supposed to be on cake making duties today... best go enlist the help of a rather bored 6 year old!

aww hugs C&J! it is so hard to see others preg especially if its someone you know!

when i was at the mall last weekend i must have seen about 10 pregnant ladies and each time my eyes got watery. DF kept asking what was wrong and i said nothing but he caught me looking at one and i could see a lightbulb going on in his head and he gave my hand a squeeze so i know he knew what i was thinking.

woohoo way to go BK! i must get around to putting some more stuff on TM.

Babykat I am the same, I am a planner and an organiser and I like to feel I have some control over situations, I think that that has been one of the hardest things about TTC for me- realising it is one thing in life I can not control even if I have a good plan and do everything right! lol I'm not used to that. But I feel good thing month knowing Im taking steps and doing everything I can, up until now we haven't tried so much, we were just seeing what happened, because DH wanted to do it that way and I wasn't worried, but now even he's on board with the charting etc so that makes it a lot easier :)

I've not bothered much with my chart this month, but I do still take my temp every morning to give me some idea what its doing. There is a marked difference between before ov and after ov.

Charts : Thats one of the reasons i like...

Thats one of the reasons i like doing it too. I'm the kind of person that needs to have some control, and plan ahead etc... plus with charting its not easy to get caught out cos most of the time you get a pretty good idea of when af is due! Plus it gave me something to do rather than just cross fingers and hope every month.

Yup Lisa, without the min 3 hours solid sleep beforehand, the temp would be pretty inaccurate. What you can do is put the temp in, but tick the discarded box next to it, that way you still have a record of what the temp was, but it wont affect your chart. You can also add a note at the bottom of the data entry page stating why the temp was discarded for future reference

I can imagine that must be so hard C & J, I think my only saving grace in this whole TTC process is that I don't know anyone else who's even nearly TTC cos I'm fairly young, otherwise I think I would go into a depression if I had to watch other people I knew get pregnant all the time and not me... as much as I would be stoked for them, it would be so hard. I barely keep myself together as it is. Hugs.

Oh, hugs C&J... it is hard watching other people go through all the things that you want to be able to experience so much, even worse when you are constantly in close proximity to them! Been there before and it just plain sucks!

I am so gutted, I got my thermometer last night all ready to take my first temp this morning, but my stupid cat kept waking me up all night and then hiding, refusing to go out, so I never got 4 hours sleep in one go! As I went to bed late too. Grrr lol she's going to be outside at night from now on. Hopefully I have better luck tomorrow. I did take my temp this morning anyway but it's a bit useless putting it on aye? I would have only had about 2 hrs sleep before taking it

I hate this TTC, my bosses wife is 11 weeks pregnant with their 2nd child, they've just come back from their scan with a photo - I feel like bursting into tears with jealousy I feel so envious that its not me.

Congrats Aunty Bobsta, being an Aunt is the best job ever. I've been one for 13 years now and I love my 2 nieces there are the loveliest girls.
Its also nice to spoil them rotten and not have to be responsible for any tantrums - he he.

GL Toni hope you have ov'd and you guys get your bubs, you are so deserving.

I'd be interested to know what effect if any this weather is having on temps too? As mine is slightly lower this morning from 36.28 to 36.18 and it was a lot cooler last night.

big temp drop for me today, so i dont think I am going to make it to 13DPO, let alone test. Ah well... cant say I'm surprised... I would have been more surprised to see a bfp to be honest!

Bonsta, I agree with the comment about your temp drop... a lot of people get a pre-ov dip, hope you have some ov tests ready to go later today Dont forget to empty and wash your little pee cup lol!

Heaf I'm very much like that too but meeting up with tarns and the girls the other week really helped me get over my shyness and made me realise it's not as scary as I thought. Was so nice to chat with them as we all have so much in common.

Susil I say go for it if you can handle seeing a BFN if it's still early. Like Mel says, some people do get early BFP's so you just never know.

I just hate being patient right now as I want to ov NOW! I just thinks my chart is weird cos from CD10 they have been consistently low. I don't know whether to factor it this muggy weather or not. I'm not really sure how much of an affect the weather has on our temps.

congrats aunty Bobsta! thats so cool! (and gives me hope that it happened 1st month on clom for her!) and fx your unexpected temp dip is your pre-ov dip and you ov tomorrow!
CC the temp rise could just be a one-off, it has been really muggy around here lately so have you been hotter in the night? temps can do funny things for no reason. its the overall pattern you need to look for, so try not to focus on one temp on its own bummer DH wont be there anyways tho :(
im still waiting to get some ov signs..im so impatient lol. i can feel my ovaries trying to do something, but CP and CM arent fertile yet..but, like the info ive been given says, i need to BD at least every 2nd day from 3 days after the last clom tablet- which was last night, and i did indeed go get me some spermies so apparently ill ov any time from tomorrow until next tues..im thinking more near the end of the possible days, but im so looking forward to seeing my chart do what its meant to do! fx it does anyways!

LOL, my ov pains mantra will get through to you all one day. The reason I put it out so much is I believe the more you listen to your body the more you hear. Yes they may be ov pains but are you getting them at the same time every cycle (eg in your case maybe the day the surge starts).. what are they telling you? You are about to ov, you are oving, you have ov'd.

Anyhoo, as expected FF has moved my lines.. Miss Jazzy when you get mo can you please change me to 3 DPO. Right now I finally managed to spit out an egg lets see if we cant get that LP out to 12 days....

DH got me one from the supermarket its digital but only has one place so yeah I think its the wrong thing

You can do it with any but I prefer the BBT ones as quite often that extra digit can make a difference to your chart.
