Elle (When I was pregnant with her) seemed to wake as soon as I sat down at night and would keep me awake at night.

Now though, she is awake alot during the day and sleeps much better at night. I wondered the same as you when I was pregnant, Especially as she was awake all hours of the night....but her routine is very different now, and its different now from what it was when she was born too, I have a feeling her routine will still make some changes yet!!!

That keeps you awake.

I'm not sure about the routine thing though, mine usually has a big active period in the morning, on and off during the day and then is awake again late at night. He seems to be really active when I'm in the bath too.

I did read that your daily movement lulls them to sleep and they are most active when you are sitting or lying down.

He's usually pretty active around 7:30am, then again at 11am for a bit, then snoozes til about 2:30pm, then snoozes til about 7pm and then his last 'active' phase for the day seems to be around 10pm. Possibly he's active during the night but not enough to wake me up!

Is this likely to be the case after he's born as well? Is it normal for babies to develop their own routines before they're born or does everything change?

Edited by Mikaela
