LOL!!!!

BTW the enw avent catalogue in the stores has the nipple corrector thingey in it..have a look like haleighs mum says

    Author: MyMinis
Subject: 5772
Posted: 18 February 2007 at 7:30pm

mine were flat/ inverted and I knew there was something wrong with mine before I got pregnant, my midwife assured me they would draw out once breastfeeding was established which was kinda true but it was agony getting them out.

I found it took a lot more work for Haleigh to get her milk as she had to draw out the nipple, then get the milk flowing so sometimes we both would get frustrated, mine more so because I was in pain.
I tried using my breat pump to help also nipple shields but I still had no luck, so when I starting bleeding due to mastitis I just expressed which I found was much more pleasant.

But now Ive noticed that Avent ahs brought out a product designed especially for those of us with the problem, you use it while pregnant and it helps bring the nipple out and apparently it keeps it out and they dont go bakc in.
mine have stayed out slightly since the first time so I will be giving it another go.
But I am going to a lactation consultant, which I recomend everyone who has them to do if you are planning to breast feed, as they can help you prepare them for feeding and give you lots of advice which I never got the first time round and wish I'd had.

I am sure you will know if yours a flat/ inverted as they dont quite look like the ones they show in all the pictures you get that show mothers breastfeeding.
If you are unsure talk to your midwife and they should be able to put you onto someone who can help if they are.
