I would like to try the same setup with another VPN. Do you have a specific tutorial that you followed? The Nord Firefox video I saw seemed to indicate that you had to enter one VPN address into the Firefox settings, and so you were stuck in one place at a time, based on one input. Is this really the case? Since the tor browser interacts with the tor client only through loopback/localhost, and loopback/localhost does not have a MAC address. Thus, creating rules based on MAC addresses for the tor browser will specifically violate it.
