I went to waikato and am booked for an induction at 8am on Sunday (which thanks to daylight savings will feel earlier).
I was monitored and my uterine activity didn't go over 12!! The baby tho is 'very active and happy.'

Well I'm definatley being induced!!
I was monitored for half an hour yesterday - Bubs couldn't sit still! It's heart beat kept jumping to 170 as it would kick and move. .
My uterus on the other hand has decided that bubs is doing enough moving for the both of them and is being very lazy!!
I'm sure this baby has to be a male!! To lazy to move from a warm comfortable spot and loving being feed by someone. .

i've spoken to midwife but couldnt ring her at that time of the night.... but im still leaking so its highly likely that it is.... midwife reckons within the next couple of days i should go into labour....

You could always ring and ask you midwife. . Have you had any contractions or niggles after that? I wouldn't know but wouldn't it be warm? i have a question for you people im due in like 3 days, just wondering do you know when your waters have broken? was having sex next thing u know this gush of coldish fluid poured out of me (not making a mess over the bed of course) but i dont know if it was my waters as i've been having primrose oil tablets (which stink and leak) If this makes sense any ideas if it was or not?

I am!! It's not my fault!! It's my stubborn child!! Lol.
Was monitored today and bubs did everything possible to get the monitor off - kicking like a karate kid!
Go back on monday IF I haven't had bubs and then get referred for an induction.
Midwife said sometimes they induce the next day and sometimes they let it play out until the 14th day. Hey ladies

I haven't posted in a while, but see most of you have had your babies - CONGRATULATIONS you lucky things!

I'm now 5 days overdue, so know how you are feeling BabyOnBoard! I hope you are prepared for the possibility it could happen to you. I didn't even consider the fact that I might still be here pregnant almost a week later, and it really hit home today with a small breakdown at the breakfast table! I'll be induced on Monday if it doesn't happen on it's own before then. I get a little more depressed each day that gets closer to Monday as I don't want to be induced. I've heard it's not so nice!

Anyway, good luck to those of you still to pop, but I do think it's only fair you let me go next. When i was about 37wks i fell over on the escalator (havnt a clue how to spell that!) you know the flat ones that you take your trolley up/down?
I slipped and fell on my bum so it wasnt that bad but this lady going up them was like "OH GOSH ARE YOU OKAY?".

Well I'm still pregnant and my due date is appearing fast!! Monday (bum bum bum).
Baby decided to tease me by turning halfway and then deciding to turn back into the posterior position!    DF tells me that this buuba is as stubborn as it's mama.
Had a few scares this week:
I fell off a stool and went flying into the air - Landing on my bum so at least my fall was well cushioned (sp?).
I also had (and have) very bad pains 'down below' (TMI). The midwife told me to go see a doctor and I started freaking out and went straight to the after hours doctor. Turns out I have a blood blister on the inside of my labia probably caused by the fall.

I hope your enjoying your bubbas .Mel, Melln and Babykiwi! I keep staring at all the baby things imagining what it will be like

Hey guys,

Ava Rose Kelly was born on 6th Sept at 1646 weighing in at 7lb 14oz.

Was a tough 24 hours before hand, active labour lasted 3 hours, short thankgfully!!

Didn't get the water birth I wanted but couldn't be any happier with the way things happen!!

Well, still having irregular contractions!! Midwife is coming out to check me at about 11am (unless something happens meantime!)

Might have to have antibiotics since its nearly 24 hours since the waters broke, could mean the end of my water birth!!

It took me 6 hours!! My ass was numb from all the sitting!!! Spent yesterday cleaning my jewellery and most of today in bed with my partner!! The deed is done! LOL

Yeah, I've been having pains, like braxton hicks but stronger. My midwife reckons that it's your bodies way of gettig ready!! Hope it happens sooner rather than later, it seems like this little one is happy in there, getting lots of movements!

Well I've had a fun day, in hospital! They thought I had a blood clot, so have been at the assessment unit up at Auckland all day, being poked and prodded. Baby is fine, I'm broken, I have some kind of condition called something that I won't even attempt to spell, nothing serious. Had to have an aterial blood test OMFG it hurt like anything, still does, my wrist is swollen and bruised, I'm totally shattered. I've seen the midwife and had a sweep done, just to see if things can start naturally. Have spent the last hour or so checking and double checking that I've got everything ready.... one slight hitch - we haven't put the cot up yet that will be dh's job when he gets home.

I have had a few BH but not bad ones. For me it's the unbearable pressure on and around my pelvis coz bubs is sitting very comfortably in my pelvis!!

I wouldn't worry too much Baby on Board, I think if we're all honest we've all done it!!

As for me, I've been having contractions for the last 13 hours!!! Midwife reckons that my body is getting ready for the birth and the baby is being stubborn by not moving down!! Nothing much else happening.

I know I can't wait either! I'm over feeling like a whale! I've misjudged the size of my tummy a few times and hit it with a door or when walking past something Hopefully I'm better with the actual baby.

All right for you guys getting induced!! We have to wait and see what happens with ours. At least you know when you're having yours!! Mind you I don't envy you at all though, at least I'm having a smooth pregnancy!

I'm still waiting for my referral to Greenlane..my mw marked it urgent and I've heard nothing, I'm not very impressed with my mw as my shortness of breath etc is getting worse and I'm struggling 80% of the time to breath. If they decide to induce it won't till next week at the earliest. Feeling really grumpy and fed up at the moment... the smallest thing like emptying the dishwasher wipes me out.

having little boy on sep 18th via elective c section.
Starting to get scared this pregnancy has gone to fast i know alot of people say it seems to take ages but it has flown by for me.
Can you ever be totally ready.
Anyone else booked in for a c section??
